Did you ever hear about the Islands of Pakistan? Many of us do not know about beautiful Islands which our Homeland owns. Our country contains Islands with stupendous natural beauty. I am going to share some information about these Islands.
Astola Island:

This is the largest Island of Pakistan is also known as “Jezira Haft Talar” or “Island of seven Hills” situated in the Arabian sea approximately 25 km (16 mi) south of the nearest part of the coast and 39 km (24 mi) southeast of the fishing port of Pasni. It is still uninhabited, having an area of 6.7 km2. The island can be accessed by motorized boats from Pasni, with a journey time of about 5 hours to reach the island.
Churna Island:

It is Small Island, located in the Arabian Sea at the boundary of province of Baluchistan and Sind, still uninhabited.it is locally known as “Cheerno”. Villagers of Mubarak Village go for fishing near Churna Island, which is at 5km from the village. Churna is mostly used as a firing range by the Pakistan Navy “and for Scuba Diving, Free diving, Underwater photography, Camping, Trekking, Hiking, Speed boating, Water sports, Knee boarding, Wake Tubing, Banana tubing, Jet Skiing, Cliff Diving and Snorkeling. It is interesting to know that there are more than 60 types of Corel Reefs near Chrna waters.
Bundal Island:

It is the small Island, located in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Karachi Sindh. It is famous for the tomb of Muslim Sufi Yousaf shah, annual Urs attracts thousands of Muslims from the coastal regions.
Recently Pakistan Business tycoon Malik Riaz and American inverster Thomas Kramer signed a an agreement to build Bodha Island City in Bundal Island which is located along the coast of Karachi. They are also planning g to build a world’s tallest building on Bundal Island . This project will provide employment to an estimated 2.5 million people, as well as provide housing to potentially millions of people.
Manora Island:

A small peninsula located south of port of Karachi , having an area of 2.5 km2. Manora is connected to the mainland by a 12 kilometer long causeway called the Sandspit. Manora is a famous picnic spot because of long sandy beaches and famous for her tallest light house of Pakistan. Pakistan’s ministry of ports and shipping signed a memorandum of understanding in 2006 with Dubai World and M/s Limitless & Dubai Islamic Bank for the redevelopment of Manora Island.
Shams Pir Island:

This Island is located Keamari Town in Karachi. Shams Pir is located within the Karachi Fish Harbour, close to Sandspit Beach and Mauripur. It is a famous place for tourists who come for Knee boarding, Wake Tubing, Scuba Diving etc.
Khiprianwala Island:

It is a small island located in the Arabian Sea, off the coast of Karachi, uninhabited island famous for her natural beauty. Many noble species are found here.
Baba and Bhitt Islands:

Smallest neighborhood of Kiamiari town in Karachi comprising three small fishing Island which is center of harbor of the Karachi. It is inhabited Island with 12000 population and area of 4 km2. Many ethnic groups live here including Muhajir , Sindhi, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Seraikis, Pakhtoon , Balochis , Memons.
There is another place named Bhit Shah located in the interior part of province of Sindh. Bhit Shah is the town where the shrine of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (1689–1752), the patron saint of Sindh.
Malan Island:

It is actually a Mud Volcano 3 km off the coast of Baluchistan, located in Arabian sea.. It rose out of the water overnight in March 1999 and subsided below sea level within a year. It reappeared in 2010.
Zalzala Island:

It is also known as Zalzala Jazeera (Earthquake Island) is a small island off the coast of the port city of Gwadar Baluchistan Pakistan which appeared on 24 September 2013 following an earthquake.
It rose out of the water during a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck the same province.
